Weekly Classes for Adults!

Develop the Artist within you! Have fun, get rid of stress or just enjoy the creativity and interaction with other Artists. No matter if you have not painted before, beginners are welcome!
Weekly morning and evening classes for adults.

We cover flowers, still-life, landscapes, harbor and seascapes, street scenes and a combination of items. You can paint your first painting within 4 weeks! Art supplies available during class at cost effective prices. Develop the Artist within you! Proven curriculum of well-known SA Artist. We work mainly in Acrylics and learn the full application and process of a painting on canvas. You can frame it and hang it!

Impro Art School was founded in the early 80’s on the West Rand under the Leadership of well-known SA Artist, Pieter Millard. For nearly 25 years, this school developed on the West Rand, Pretoria, Rustenburg and other areas in Gauteng, Mpumalanga and North West. Through the dedicated work of Pieter Millard, many students were impacted by his style and dynamic curriculum. Great Artists evolved from his school and is known amongst Art Galleries and many corporate clients today.

Impro Art School is now in the hands of Pieter’s daughter, Ina Millard-Eksteen. She makes use of his full curriculum and re-opened the school in 2009 on the West Rand. Pieter is painting full time and resides at Hartbeespoort Dam in the North West. Pieter’s students will always be welcome at Impro-Art School!

We have Art Supplies available at competitive prices. Buy your canvasses, brushes, various paints - acrylic or oils and frame your work at special student prices.
The studio is situated in Ruimsig, Roodepoort.
